Well, we are settled in Toledo area for the week and to kick things off we celebrated Miles' Birthday today. Since I slept until noon Miles spent most of his morning hanging around the cousins' very spacious house, playing pool, and not eating B-fast. He also skipped lunch so when I got up and told him we are heading out to have lunch and do stuff for his bday he reacted apathetically due to the low blood sugar (and the fact he grasped the fact he was no longer a kid). Chik-fi-la (spelling) at the mall lifted his spirits, and blood level, and he got into the day. He even agreed when CC and I talked him into getting a Build A Bear Koala. Dressed as a dictator.
Afterwords he did some clothes shopping and headed back to the house for a Tator tot casserole (his fav) (not the dog...the food). He also played pool and a board game with his cuz.
Somehow in there I got a lot of work done for the show. That included buying flowers for my friend who died last Friday and trying to find a replacement Flemish Giant Bunny. Mami and CC got a ton of laundry done. The kids swam in the cousins' pool and went to their church for VBS tonight. They had a blast.
Below are come pix from James' camera from last week in KY:
