So here we are. Our third Day in Bowling Green. Boy is is beautiful out here.
Today we awoke to sprinkles. Little did we know that a small tornado hopped around Beech Bend Park tearing up a tree a building, outside furniture a giant umbrella that was embedded in cement, and through an ice machine around. It missed our show pavilion by 100 yards and on the other side our RV by 200 yards Angels watching over us. There were lots of puddles and saturated areas around the park and attendance was low. We only had 10 folks at our first show but made up for it at the other two shows, yet still not near as big as it could've been. Even thought the rest of the day was nice the TV news kept folks worried about thunderstorms so they stayed home.
Fortunate for us a group from the Louisville area had came down this week just to see us. They are a group of Christian Cheerleaders. By Saturday this group of around 9 will swell to 45 according to their director and it is because they had seen us in the past and have been following us on Facebook and planned their trip around our performing at the park. I will post a video of them opening for our last show tonight.
Yesterday we had a group of roller coaster enthusiasts from England come to the last show. They were a lot of fun and they only ones who understood my Dr. Who jokes.
I was caught by a Victor trap
Notice the lamp...that is an oil lamp with a real flame in it. (For the bike)
Below some bi-standers are allowed to find out what a fly bar of a trapeze feels like...sore rotator-cups for sure.
Going for it on the Shock drop ...the new one is 20 feet or so taller than the old one that had to be removed because it was damaged by lightening a couple of years ago.
The Magnolia tree in front of our pavilion.
This spook house is nearly 100 years old.
The ra-ra girls for God.
