Well, last night at the the Franklin Southampton fair we were hit with mega rain and that meant leaving the set up until this morning. Miles, who slept at the Rv was up with the sun and began stowing the show before anyone even thought about waking up. He is industrious. I slept in until 10 and the rest of the family arrived around a 10:30. Sorting wet gear that would need a dryer, and wiping what could be wiped and throwing away about $200 of props that were damaged by the water took up the morning. There were still puddles and swamp area all over the grounds. The rounds crew were kind to us throughout the whole fair. In fact we had a positive experience with the whole fair board.
The animal show folks had a harder time of it with most of their area under swampy conditions. As of a couple of hours ago they were still there and maybe staying one more night to get cleaning up. It was a tough fair for them. Super nice folks. May God's patience and heart be with them, because we know how frustrating these things can get.
We only drove a few miles down the road to a really nice family fun RV park and right away everyone started to "let go" and relax. Even though it has been a light tour there was something about today that was nice....letting go.
We plan on staying one more day and visiting some historic sites.
I will post pictures tomorrow.

I hope you enjoy it. The Staples animal show were still tearing down both times I went to the grounds. That was about 7pm when I left the last time. When I got there the second time I had to,help them round up the mini horses. They escaped onto the road but came back safely.
