A Reason to Drive only 1.5 hours even when storms ...

Today we drove just 1 and a half from MA to Waterbury, CT on our trip to AZ. So why would someone only drive such a short drive with such a long drive ahead.  Well, for the pizza of course.  At the fair we found the best Ribs ever and a few years ago we found the best pizza ever here in CT.  The absolute best is in Nagatuck, birth place of Naugahyde. But they are closed on Tuesdays.  But htat is OK because the second best,ad a very very very close second in Nino's Pizza right off of Hwy 24 in Waterbury.  We ordered three fantastic pies there.  Oh, heaven! If one could earn their way into Heven (by the way if you read your bible you will find it's not what you do or even how nice you are but faith in the Lord Jesus that gets you that golden ticket) then the pizza makers at Nino's wold all have guaranteed places.

Above you see a pix of Olivia with Banana, her round, ball like plush, bean bag bottom, belated birthday present. She saw it at the mall here in Waterbury and fell in love. On her actual bday we had a special meal for her, cake ice cream and a couple of small gifts from her siblings. But nothing from me yet. So today This is what she got..she is very very happy.

This is Daphne. Her family runs the German Food concession next to us at the last fair. She was the one who took time to work with Amelia with the hula hoop work. She is really good. James took some time and gave her a few trapeze lessons.  She quickly learned it takes  A LOT of upper body strength. She has a very charismatic personality and smile. She is a wonderful young lady and  comes from a great family.  If she wants she is more than welcome to travel with us.

I should mention that there is another reason for the short drive. My cousin Patricia and her fam live out here.  With various impending storms and our travel schedule today was our only opportunity to see them.  We are hoping to visit Philly before leaving the area but It looks like the weather is going to push us north West for now. We will see.
