Well, the longest election process I have ever experienced is over. For that and the fact a few people I supported and a few issues I supported succeeded I am happy, but reserved.
I am also happy because over the past few years I have seen first hand so much hate and spite and anger (most of it irrational) has been on display. So now it is the put up or shut up time. Show me the money, y'all. If the hope and change guy can't pull it off, or reneges on his promises or pushes through socialist changes, stays in Iraq, and doesn't pull us out of the economic woes then what? Prepare ye self for inflation, unemployment, and the thought police.
I believe we have a Jimmy Carter and we all know we need one of them before we can have a Ronald Reagan.
