Eating Crickets and A Show

In the act of making my good friend JC happy (famous for getting reduced rate rooms or free rooms by doing magic) we are getting our RV spot comped tonight in exchange for doing a small show. Basically we are getting it for doing what we love to do and get some practice in too. Normally the kids practice 3-6 hours a day and the traveling has stopped that. So tonight they will get a work out. And that works out good for us.
The shop had flavored dried crickets for sale so for fun we tried some....tasted like wood. I have video coming soon. Below are some pictures.
Another first is we played shuffle board today. It was a lot of fun.  I like this resort (Yogi Bear RV parks) because they are a resort with activities, clean facilities, nice people, etc. A lot like the old rv resorts from days gone by.
If you missed my report we were hit by a really bad thunderstorm system, the same one that killed folks in OK, KS, and parts of this state, last night. The tornado siren went off and the family went to the shelter where Jim performed. It was that performance that got us the invite to perform tonight. I stayed in the RV with the animals.
No damage at all last night. Just a wonderful light and noise show.
Oh, they are calling the show tonight the "We survived the Storm" show.  As a result of Jim's performance in the shelter for the first time in the camp's history no one complained or wanted a refund after the storm.  What a compliment.
