Day 3 Part 2

It is now pushing 11pm SMT (they don't do daylight saving in AZ). And we are now done with two shows. The first was a fun for all promo show at the local elementary school to get butts in the theater show this eve. It worked 'cuz they came. The theater is beautiful and it is hard to believe that such a small town has such a huge modern theater. As you drive down the main drag you get the impression of a wind swept town beaten up by constant wind and extreme temps. Then you pull up to this very modern very sleek building. Sleek inside and out. It seats 800!
The people who came out to the show were really responsive folks. They laughed and cheered and guffawed with us for nearly two hours. They ranged all ages and not one demographic left unsatisfied. We had many great comments on the show.
One thing I notices is our dog Belle was particularly silly tonight. She was hit in miss on obeying me but nailed her routine. During our circus parade openner she actually left the stage and strolled the area right in front of the apron of the stage. Down one set up stairs to the left across the front of the house then back up the right steps and back onto her platform. It was funny as all get out but surreal. Everyone loved her.
Since it was a fundraiser our take was lower than if we just charged our full show price. But then again this town probably couldn't have put butts in the seats if we had gone full price. And it feels good to help out a cause.
Next we have to work our way over to OK for the Walleye Rodeo....it's a fishing event.
God Bless and good night.
