Big Crowds, Big Good Byes

Jim...a little green around the gills...read on....
I'm smiling because we had big crowds today. I mean BIG crowds. I have a panoramic view below. I am also smiling because the weather has been awesome. Dry but awesome.
In a nut shell we had a great rest most of the day and only had two night shows. The crowds were big and we had a ton of repeat audience members. We also have a tentative rebook for next year. We and they will decide for sure in the coming months. Sunny, the woman who did the girl's nails, brought her kids out to the fair and treated the kids and us big kids to some fair food snacks. She is a generous lady. Her kids and mine got along swimmingly. They played duck duck goose, and other games as the big kids cleaned up and a country band played pre-1980's music in the back ground...real loud. We bid farewell to our vendor neighbor East Texas Tai Kwan Do and their owner and students. The owner, Jennifer, is a nice lady with a sense of humor my cousins, Kris and Jay, could relate to. She was sweet to my kids too.
Jim had a bad day with a flu bug attacking him and his digestive tract. Keep him in your prayers. We were inundated with compliments after the shows. I record number of people came out of their way to tell us how much they enjoyed the show. Two other performers took our show info to help get us bookings at other fairs that they regularly perform. Hope it pans out. After the show was packed, hugs were given all around and we are now in the hotel with an early wake-up for our drive to Roswell. Wonder if we will meet any aliens?

The panoramic of the 2 shows..BIG crowds.
The liquor store I got my medicine at earlier this week. Mt Pleasant is a dry or a little moist (restaurants) so we had to go a town over. What a great name for a Texas Liquor store.
