Mostly warmer today we still had a breezy and cool afternoon. Too breezy for my tastes since I have to eat fire and Jim has to balance a wheel barrow on his face. Still I ended up with a sunburned face...hmmmm. Below are the pictures I promised to post... some from today and some from yesterday. Enjoy. My childhood friend, Gordon Wong, whom I haven't seen since High school came out to visit. He came bearing gifts and even helped out here an there. What a guy! (He brought hot wings!...you have to love the man!) It was great catching up with him. We will see him and his family a time or two before we move on. Big news of the day is Nick, our sound man for the last couple of years made his debut on the static trapeze. Likewise Olivia performed her lyra (a loop trapeze) both today and yesterday. Nick did a great job. I can't imagine the pressure and nerves he must have gone through since it was his first performance of such a demanding stunt. Three cheers for Nick. The alligator show next to us is having the hardest time with the weather. I mean gators are cold blooded and it's cold so they don't move as much as they would normally. And that poor guy has to jump into that frigid water with them when doing his act. The wind played havoc on the Kids Celebration group. It's a couple that do an interactive game show like thing. Like on Nick TV. A lot of their stuff requires light object being thrown or stacked. Add wind and it can be tough. Still they pulled it off well. . On other fronts here I have to say the other acts we are working with are great. The audiences have be fantastic. The day started slow but by evening we filled every seat. But so went the attendance; slow at first and better as the day went on. I should also report that the cold has caused me to get Belle a nice sweater like thing that is rain proof and warm. Last wee she got a hair cut (it was warm then) but she has been shivering all day today. The press conference on Friday!
