Today is Miles' Birthday...he is 14 years old! In celebration we had dinner at a rib place called Smoking Bones. Then we picked up some ice cream and had that at the hotel. His mom sent him a present to the Park (it arrived yesterday) with a card. She also asked me to buy him a can agetti-os (his favorite). We also rode the Kentucky Rumbler, the world's 13th best wood roller-coaster at Beech Bend Park. We got a picture of us on the ride (it won't be on the blog).
We are settling in very well. The park was a little slower today still we pulled good numbers for audiences. The 5pm show was off the charts in reaction and quality; they were fantastic!
The park has a haunted house made back in the early fifties. Everything is original...the cheesey effects and everything...it was awesome. We also rode a spinning rollercoaster thingy called the Mouse Race...it is Miles and Victor's Favorite. We also road the Moby Dick (sometimes called the Tital Wave). Yesteterday We rode the Ferris Wheel ( really old one...charming) it was Olivia's favorite....in fact she cried when it was time to get off.
