JamesToday was our last day at Beech Bend. We made a ton of friends among the employees and other acts. In fact, we hung out with the owners grandkids and the dancers from the Magic of Music show. We got to ride the new carousel that will officially open tomorrow.
The girls got to hit Splash Lagoon and cool off from this very humid day. The boys hit all the rides they wanted to try or retry before leaving. James made a ton of friends and was a hit with the teen-age girls. So he had a lot of fare-wells to say.
Our three shows went very well and in spite of a slower day we still pulled decent numbers. And they were exceptionally responsive.
We packed up the show within and hour and had the trailer loaded and ready to go.
Rachel, the daughter of the lady who hired us and granddaughter of the owner gave me a wonder gift; a Kentucky Rumbler Tshirt...autographed. Very cool.
Well, it's off to Chicago for a night then off the Isanti, MN, We start the fair on Wed.
Tomorrow is Victor, Jr's Bday. He will be 7...more to follow.....
