Updates from CT

As I mentioned last night our last show yesterday was canceled as the park was closed early due to thunder storms. The rain continued through the night into the morning where it waned off into gentle sprinkles and dying off only to re-sprinkle every once in a while. The girls decided to help get rid of the puddles that formed by taking spoon full by spoon full of water over to the lake. (the pictures below show the story.)

I forgot one cute thing from yesterday. Once the girls got into the van after walking through the deluge and the river of water that flowed through the park Olivia noticed her toes were wrinkled from the water. She said, "my toes got old". It brought much laughter.
Due to the threat of rain and low turn out they closed the park 2 hours early. Still we got 2 shows in and believe it or not we had great turnout. The first show was full seating and standing. (Several camps and summer schools were there.) The second show had about 50 people (all families) and they sat through it all in spite of several moments where it began to rain. Nick and the boys would cover props with tarps as who ever was up performing did their routines. It was awesome.

Below is the link, the text and a pix that was put out on the national Amusement Park News Site:
