Rain hit us right in the middle of our first show. The storm was big and hit hard and fast. 2" rain drops!
After the storm, which you can see in the background we had to clean up and dry off for our last show. Which went really well. Our two audiences today were awesome.
In the first show just before the rain Victor repeated his upside down strait-jacket escape. In fact, we did many things before it "opened-up". We had just brought up the three kids from the audience when a giant raindrop hit one of those kids in the face. Belle was off the stage and running for the RV before any of us realized we were in a deluge. Audience scattered like cockroaches brought into the light. So did we!
The pic of Miles was after he got back from strolling as the Penguin.

POSER!
We visited an old Civil war fort and battlefield in Boonesboro, KY. The fort is nothing more than a ditch and a mound with a cannon on it now but it saw quite the skirmish back in the day. It was quite a little hike getting Titus up the hill. With such a nice morning it is hard to believe that a thunderstorm was working it's way our way.
Lukas walked down the center of the path to avoid the poison ivy that was all over the place.
The trail had a cell phone tour thingy. Just dial the number and a recording told you the story.
A neat story. At the end of the last show a man came up and offered to buy all the kids in the audience a magic wand. How neat is that!
On a political note. I actually read a posting from a friend that compared the US debt now being equal to our GDP to a Tea-party person whose total mortgage is greater than his yearly income. How obtuse can you get. The US debt is paid back with more debt. A tea party member's mortgage is paid back with his income...not more debt. Only a fool uses a credit card to pay a credit card or mortgage. Yup I just called them running our government fools. Hell, let's raise the debt ceiling again...why have a ceiling, let's just tear down the house and let it go sky high. That should create jobs!
