Nice Day at the Fair

Well, we are one day away from finishing here and the kids took the opportunity to hit the mechanical bull. Lucky they did when they did because it would break down later in the night and be out for the fair. Before the shows the little ones showed me the exotic animals of the Endora Farms exhibit and the FFA and 4H exhibits. There is a picture here of one of the tobacco exhibits. There is a tobacco field right behind the fair (see the picture).

Th Endora Farms folks have a zebra, camel, and other exotics including the red haired Scottish Highlander bull (in the pictures). His name is Landon. Did you know that this breed is the earliest domesticated cow breed and the queen of England only eats this kind of beef from her private herd?

Crowds were better today and the weather was really nice. Not too hot.
Not much went on today to report as newsworthy. We have made new friends. In fact, the bull ride guy came over and worked out on the trap with the boys a bit.

Titus has been moody most of the day. On stage, for the second day, He just stared at the audience and did very little of his tricks. Ow well. He IS a teen ager now.

We will visit Ale 8 One factory tomorrow. It is a soda (pop) that is made here and is popular in Kentucky, like Moxie is popular in Maine. We will see how it goes.

We finish tomorrow and we will move on to Virginia. Since we have a few days we will camp at an RV camp or two and visit famous Landmarks and museums, and parks.
