Clarksville...Day 3...the "settle in day"

I like fairs that run longer than three days because it takes that long to adjust the body, the mind, the blocking, the show, everything that long...ideally. Tonight I will sleep the deepest.  And the shows were the hardest to do. Tomorrow all will kick in.  It's always that way.
Power has been our biggest concern here.  They need one more transformer. During the day we are running at below 110 and pop the breaker on the Rv several times sometimes.  We were able to up the output from our power source by 5 volts and are doing better...but....
We used the RV generator for an hour or so until we could get the electrician in to help us out.

Our Zibit...side show "Strange thing" exhibit is really popular. People are trying to guess what it is. I don't know what it is but it's weird and people are loving it.  It's like going back to Barnum days. Not having as many workers this year (Lukas and Midori aren't with us) means right after the show Jim takes the Zibit until I finish with business on stage...sometimes Victor will do it. Then I take over until the next show. I take my meals as I "talk" up the exhibit. Some people think it is a mermaid, some a stone baby, some an alien, one person said it was a deep fried pygmy, some a fetus. Who knows.  I have the mammoth flea in there too.   It's making special memories for people.

Mami did her new running gag routine. People actually thought the tortoise was going to jump through the hoop.   The Sultan (tortoise) really loves this weather and has been very animated.

Everyone is really pulling their weight. Jim is coach to most of the acts and doing a great job.  Both Jim and I got an email from a producer who is developing a tv reality show about CDL drivers who can do tricks or stunts in a contest like format. neither one of us are cdl so oh, well.

Deep Fried dill pickle spears and cheese were on the menu for my late night dinner. The vendors around us have been taking care of us. We promote them from the stage and they feed us....good trade.  The little ones have developed friendships with the vendors' kids. It's cute. Jackson and Emily are really well mannered sweet kids.  But then again. Most kids who learn to work with their fams generally are.
