Titus on Stage.

Today Titus made his premier performance at Quassy Amusement park. He did so under the 75% threat of Thunderstorms, that never materialized. The affected today's attendance but it was generally polite nice crowds.

Mami also made her debut and nailed her juggling of cooking, cleaning and the kids (you will have to see a video of it one of these days.)

Olivia helped with Titus' routine. It was plagued with little irritants like the bird flying of, me banging my leg, and the bunny making a premature appearance. But it was OK.

We designed a pair of black pants that Velcro on so he doesn't have to get out of the chair to change into costume. He was really tired after the show (it was warm and humid today). So he and Mami didn't do the final curtain call.

I don't know what Victor is upto?

Quassy is 102 years old. Here is a fellow who sits on the top of one of the buildings that has seen many of those years.

Here we are making our final call.

Nick films Miles chasing the bird that got away. Video below.

Nick working the sound.

We had home cooked (rv coked) curry and rice for dinner...very nice. After getting back to "home" I had to run out again to pick up wood for a new trick I will build tomorrow, booked an apt for the dog to be trimmed, and ran to Wal-mart for a sundry of supplies . Mile and Nick went to the work out room then a dip in the pool as Jim did a load of wash.

The kids got a chance to hit a few rides today and tomorrow we plan on going out on the boat (Quassy is on a lake and has a tour boat). The Captain is a really nice older gent who really like the young ones.

I was told by our boss that the park is getting a lot of folks swinging by the office to compliment our show. I asked if that was normal for the other acts that come and he said No. Cool!

I really like the maintenance employees here. There shop smells of oil and metal shavings. It's cluttered but clean. The four guys there are all colorful men. Each really nice guys. Swede is the guy that gave me a Clive Cussler book last year and now Miles and I are addicted. Wayne is the Harley Guy, the welder. There is the cranky, cussing machinist, who is a hoot and fun to talk to....when the kids aren't around. Then there is one other guy who's name escapes me. He is the guy that does a little bit of everything. The park is full of colorful people. And the history of the place is in the air and you can feel it.
