CT

As you can see by this sign...we are in CT. 14 hours of driving...it was actually an easy drive. Only one thunderstorm to drive through....I was hoping for it too. The vehicles need a wash...no time to go to a car wash.
Our hotel is very nice...basically a fancy Holiday Inn Resort with an indoor water park next door. The style of the hotel is very Embassy Suites with pretty Ok rooms...but the hotel in BG, KY wins for "best room award" so far this trip.
I am sick of fast food...had it too mcuh in the past and had it for dinner tonight....blaaaahk!
Here is a fast pix of the "welcome to NY" sign.
I don't think many people realize that most of NY state is countryside and small towns. very pretty.

Miles has a town named after him. My camera wasn't ready when we pasted Kent State.

Belle took over the driving for a while. I napped!' Boy does she need a haircut.....
Sleep was scant last night. My knocking the trailer off it's block delayed us by 20 minutes. That was 5 minutes too late. The demolition derby ended and we were stuck in the parking lot for and hour....could've used that sleep.
At our hotel an uppity yuppie couple below us kept calling the front desk, and in turn them us, saying we were making a lot of noise walking and jumping, and having animals int he room, etc. Belle was in the RV, nobody was jumping around and we all were walking in our stocking feet. I know the floors or ceilings (depending on you perspective) squeak and amplify sound. The people above sounded like it were sumo wrestler's walking around. Traveling a lot you just accept the faults of the hotel if the client bought the room. You do your best to lesson the problems. One way is to get the top floor or the bottom, but never in between. Also try to find the room faults early and change rooms if possible.
Our shows start tomorrow so we have to get in early to set up. Tuesday we have an even earlier start as we will be on Ct TV.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers. I want to lift up a couple of friends who are going through some tough times and my mother with her unknown continuing illness.
