Beech Bend Day 2....Newspaper interview..Titus Performs

Day 2 at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, KY and the day starts off raining. Sometimes it rained pretty heavy. It kept going until noon and that was enough to keep the throngs away. But it kept it cool, humid, but cool. That's bad for the park...they count on their water park for revenue. The owners are pretty awesome to keep the park open on heavy rain days. Some places would close to safe on expenses. I think the owner really loves his park and really cares about his customers.
Mami and Titus made their debut today. It is probably good that it was slow as debuts can be tough. Mami and Titus did fine. In fact, Titus just loves being on stage. The audience was warm and receptive. Mami did great with her juggling and will debut "Seance" tomorrow...we have a few surprises in the routine that should add some fun to it.
Since it rained today the kids didn't have to do the morning meet and greet so instead they worked on improving their acts. Jame added climbing a ladder while balancing the wheel barrow on his face. Miles is doing more work with his signal whip.
Amelia did a new mind reading bit where she reads the serial number of a dollar bill without ever seeing the bill....it's burned with a corner left in the owner's hand.
Olivia debuted a new way to make Buttercup the snake appear too.
So much new stuff and it all went over very well. We were blessed in that respect. Usually less the half of new stuff ever makes it into the show and even less ever get to stay.

Below is a picture of that bug bite I got in London. Still looks bad. Maybe a tad smaller...but not much.

Titus not only debuted in the show today he also rode some rides. he rode the carousel and the train ride. he had a blast. It was so nice to see him smile so big.

Below is a picture of our friend Jimmy Lavender. He is a ride lead and a heck of a nice guy....for a Georgian. Caught him in the middle of dumping pop corn down his pie hole.
Victor is thrilled because he got to ride the Kentucky Rumbler today. it's an awesome wooden roller coaster.
Jim is off to sushi tonight with park friend and we went off to Bob Evans again...and stuffed ourselves again.

Oh, I almost forgot. The local paper interviewed us today for an article for this Thursday. Natalie from the paper is the same girl who interviewed us last year. Very sweet young lady.
