Beech Bend Park Week Two

We started our second and final week at Beech Bend today. It was a nice day but humid beyond belief. Our clothes were drenched through after every show. In between shows when the kids weren't strolling (poor Miles and his mascot costumes) they were trying out knew things....Jim demonstrates below...
Oh, here is a quick shot of the crowd before the show. I spend a few minutes before each show chit-chatting with the crowd. While chatting today I asked how many of them were our Facebook friends...about 5 raised their hands. So I snapped this picture so they could see themselves when I post it on FB later on.

Today Cynthia and Morgan sang "Down to the River" (Video below)

This is Grant, the grandson of the owner and a great friend of all the kids. He, like his siblings, all work at the park and are really nice kids. We missed Grant the first wee since he was at church camp. He came to two shows today then spent a lot of time with the three little ones...especially playing in the big puddle in front of our stage shelter.

In spite of Bobbi's weak performance, case of enui, I suppose...she didin't do her dance and even though she found the chosen card she did it without doing all the silly by play. Maybe tomorrow.
But Buttercup did as well as always. Olivia crowned him a king.
All in all today was hot, sweaty, busy and believe it or not worth it! When the crowd applauds it's all worth it.
Titus and Mami performed today. I am hoping to video tape them soon so you can see their acts. The Audience loved them
