Whacked in the Face....Drop Zone

First let me say the weather was great. Since clouds filled the sky but allowed the sun to peak out every now and again while at the same time holding back any liquid sunshine the day stayed cooler than it could have been.
I did some shopping as the kids did strolling in the morning. I picked up supplied to start training Belle the Wonder Dog for the show as well as six gallons of sweet tea. We live off that stuff.
It was packed at Beech Bend today. As we pulled in it was noticeable by the number of cars and buses in the parking lot that today was going to be busy. The amounted to full houses for every one of our shows. That makes for better shows and they were great!
Mami nailed her juggling in the third act and the comments I got about the joy it brings people to see Titus (our disabled son) in the show were many.
We thought we were in trouble when the three people who tied Victor up included an adult and a boy scout. But even with the sophisticated knots and careful attention to tying his hands he was out very quickly. Seems the more detailed and time used to tie him up the easier it is for him.

During one of Olivia's tricks where she makes her snake, Buttercup, appear she was having trouble pulling the lid off. just as I bent over to help it open off and whacked me in the face. Jim ran over with the camera and snapped the photo below.
Mami got into the game of "bug of the day" and found the beetle below.
Miles has expanded his routines to include...bull whipping, magic math square (thanks JC), fire-eating, and the bed of nails.
It was a great day.
But the highlight for me was the filming of the Drop Zone for our video blog. To get what will appear to be a single ride on this fabulous ride where you are lifted high into the air and then dropped, we had to shot it four times, using two cameras for each shoot. It was a ton of fun.
Bowling Green is the home of the Corvette and this week is homecoming week. There have been Covettes everywhere. Easy on the eyes for sure.
It's been approved we will do an upsidedown strait-jacket escape next week.
