Our show went on anyways and through the power of magic we had power even though everyone else was down. I will share our secret with you (and no we did not bribe the carnival for power). Turns out, and I forgot until that 5 minute before the show mark, that we are carrying a generator. So out it came from the trailer and with a few changing of the plugs by Nick we had power.
Now, for most of you reading this you might not consider this a BIG thing. But for the fairgoers who were expecting a show it was a big thing. And for us to perform when we say we will, it was a big thing.
By the way it's the same generator that helped out when we lost power at my cousin's house in Ohio last week. I hope this loosing power and pulling out the generator doesn't become and ongoing theme this summer.
By the way, it is nearly 3pm on Wednesday when I write this and just like yesterday it is raining. I hope it clears up like yesterday because I love these people out here in Clarksville. They have been a fantastic audience.
