Almost forgot...

Wow. I almost forgot to talk about the BIG thing of the day in yesterday's blog. OK. It isn't earth shattering but it affected a bunch of people at a speedway/fairgrounds in Clarksville, TN. All day power had been an issue (still is) the voltage has been low so when the entire grounds lost power we all thought it was just a circuit breaker. But after some time it was discovered that the city of Clarksville had a power problem and we were part of it. It was five minutes to our very first show here and we were without power (but so was the grandstand, vendors, etc. However the carnival had it's own from it's generators.)
Our show went on anyways and through the power of magic we had power even though everyone else was down. I will share our secret with you (and no we did not bribe the carnival for power). Turns out, and I forgot until that 5 minute before the show mark, that we are carrying a generator. So out it came from the trailer and with a few changing of the plugs by Nick we had power.
Now, for most of you reading this you might not consider this a BIG thing. But for the fairgoers who were expecting a show it was a big thing. And for us to perform when we say we will, it was a big thing.
By the way it's the same generator that helped out when we lost power at my cousin's house in Ohio last week. I hope this loosing power and pulling out the generator doesn't become and ongoing theme this summer.
By the way, it is nearly 3pm on Wednesday when I write this and just like yesterday it is raining. I hope it clears up like yesterday because I love these people out here in Clarksville. They have been a fantastic audience.
