News Visit Van Wash Date

Kuzin' Kris overcomes her fear of snakes with Buttercup's help.

Something amazing happened today...nothing broke except the heat wave and now it's actually rather cold out her in the RV tonight. Yesterday, sweat bullets, today, more blankets....go figure.

The Big Toledo Newspaper, the Toledo Blade, sent a reporter and photographer-video-ographer out to us today and they are putting together a story about the fam and our travels and lives. They are also covering us because we will perform here in town tomorrow.

So we posed, and practiced, and answered questions. each of us took our turn showing off then giving our story either for the reporter of the photographer. It was, as always, a lot of fun. It is what we do. Another angle on the story is the fact a circus has set up in a backyard to practice in a neighborhood in Toledo. Now how often does that happen.
My cousins have been great about it though. They have been great and generous hosts. Love 'em!

Midori took this shot of the reporter (in white) and the photographer (in purple) doing their thang as we do our thang (Yes JC I spelled it that way on purpose to appear hip and cool, Yo!

Even I took a swing at the lyra. But let's face it I am not as good as Midori and Olivia.
The reporter apparently had spent some time at a circus camp and can even juggle a bit. She also has some experience with the trapeze. I was surprised when she spoke "trpaeze-eese" to us.

The other pictures here show Olivia and Jim in Bro-sis love time. And the red squad vs the blue squad. No one intentionally dressed to match we just ended up that way.
The two good looking men with me are my cousin Jay (bald guy) and second cousin Wesley (red haired guy).

The girls, led by second cousin Jessica, wanted to wash my van so we let them. She would end up slipping and skinning her knee. Tears and a bandaid. Midori and I fixed the spots they missed and they still charged me $2.00 per kid.

Jay fixed short ribs and baby back ribs on the grill for dinner (fantastic!) While they cooked the three hours they needed to cook Mami and I had a date to the mall. We ate Godiva truffles and window shopped. We didn't buy any windows...or anything else for that matter. It was a nice break for her from the kids and Titus.
As of 11 minutes ago we have been married 22 years!
