In London

We made the "grueling" 2 and a half hour drive (3 and a half if you count us losing an hour to the time zone) to London, KY.  I has been mostly mild and gas is an outrageous $3.15.  But oil is only $83/BARREL.  Last time is was $83 gas was $1.50!  Whazzup wif dat?
We are all settled in and set up has begun but since the shows don't start until tomorrow eve we will do most the set up tomorrow.
Mami was a bit stressed (after 5 days in a hotel alone with a disabled 14 year old with outside temps in the 100s who wouldn't be stressed.  So I pried her from the hotel and took her to Weaver's Hot Dogs.  A nearly 100 year old tradition in London.  Last year they were closed. It looked like forever. But the nephew of the owner bought it and it is BACK!  We arrived five minutes before closing and they locked us in at 7pm. We sat and enjoyed our meal and then as we left an older man came over and unlocked the doors to let us out.  It was the Older Mr Weaver.  How cool!
The whole family will pilgrimage there this week, as well as to Corbin, home of Sander's Cafe, the original KFC!
Tonight Miles, Vic Jr and I will stay at the Fairgrounds in the RV ( I love my RV bed) and the rest are in a hotel.  Give me the hotel any day.
Peace out.
