Preparing to Astound

First the general news: gas $3.25 at every gas station. Weather: 107 with and index  of 112.  HUMID!
Today, Grant Gonzales (14), grandson of the park owner, who learned to work a bullwhip last year from Miles, did a double whip routine with Miles at two shows today.  It was short and sweet and he did a fabulous job.
Due to the heat Mami and Titus stayed at the hotel. It worked out well because we are having the owners family over to the hotel for real Japanese food tonight and the time off gave Mami the chance to fix the meal.

AS you know Victor uses a Posey Medical Restraint Strait Jacket when he performs his strait jacket escape. Not a trick strait jacket often used by magicians. Yesterday he performed the escape while standing up normal on stage. Today we hoisted him up on the trapeze rig to do the escape.  Being a REAL SJ it takes longer than most magicians do it. Tomorrow he and I will go upside down over the lake at Beech Bend Park and do a father -son dual escape.
Jim brought the BBQ grill stunt back into the show: first time at Beech Bend. Miles is roasting a hotdog.
